Welcome to MealShop.io ("MealShop.io," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise accessing or using our services, you ("you," "user") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Health & Nutrition Disclaimer, which are incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use MealShop.io.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using MealShop.io, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

These Terms form a binding legal contract between you and MealShop.io.

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

If under 18, you may only use MealShop.io under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information when registering.

You are solely responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violation of these Terms or harmful activity.

3. User-Generated Content & License Grant

You retain ownership of all recipes, images, meal plans, and other material ("User Content") you submit.

By submitting User Content, you grant MealShop.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual license to use, host, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, promote, and display your content in connection with MealShop.io and affiliated services.

You may revoke this license by deleting your content, except: (a) where it has already been used in promotional materials, (b) where it has been shared by others, or (c) where technical backups are required.

You represent that you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content. You agree not to post material that infringes on the rights of others.

4. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to use MealShop.io to post or engage in:

• Illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringing content.
• Hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory content.
• Obscene, violent, or sexually explicit content.
• Spam, promotional schemes, or unauthorized advertisements.
• Malware, viruses, bots, or scraping of data.
• Attempts to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to MealShop.io or user accounts.

Violations may result in immediate suspension, removal of content, and potential legal action.

5. Images, Media & Uploads

Uploaded images and media must be relevant to food, meal plans, or community use.

By uploading, you grant us the right to reformat, compress, crop, resize, or distribute media for performance and display.

Inappropriate, infringing, or harmful media may be removed at our discretion.

6. Advertising & Monetization

MealShop.io displays third-party ads (Google AdSense, affiliate banners, sponsored content).

We do not guarantee, endorse, or assume liability for third-party ads or their products/services.

Users may not interfere with ad delivery (ad blockers, tampering, etc.).

Some features may be ad-supported, and by using the site, you consent to ad display.

7. Third-Party Services & Samsung Food

MealShop.io may integrate with Samsung Food or other third-party services for grocery shopping, nutrition data, or delivery services.

We do not own, control, or operate Samsung Food or its retailers.

All transactions, substitutions, deliveries, refunds, and disputes are handled directly by Samsung Food or its retail partners.

MealShop.io makes no warranty as to accuracy of shopping lists, pricing, product availability, or nutrition conversions.

By using these integrations, you agree MealShop.io has no liability for errors, disputes, or damages.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

MealShop.io may participate in affiliate programs, including Samsung Food and retail partners.

We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links or carts generated on the platform.

This does not increase costs to you. Affiliate participation does not influence ranking or presentation of recipes or user content.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform content (design, branding, code, features) is the property of MealShop.io and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or distribute proprietary content without written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

MealShop.io is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no guarantees that the site will be secure, uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

No content constitutes medical, nutritional, financial, or legal advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

MealShop.io, its owners, affiliates, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

We are not responsible for losses including but not limited to profits, data, goodwill, reputation, food safety, or health outcomes.

Your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the site.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MealShop.io from all claims, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your User Content.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your misuse of MealShop.io or third-party integrations.

13. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

MealShop.io complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe your work has been used without authorization, submit a written notice to our designated copyright agent.

We reserve the right to remove content alleged to infringe.

14. Force Majeure

MealShop.io is not responsible for failures or delays caused by events outside our control, including natural disasters, outages, strikes, or government restrictions.

15. Governing Law, Arbitration & Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Duval County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits or jury trials.

16. International Users & Export Control

MealShop.io is operated from the United States. We make no representation that the site is appropriate for use outside the U.S.

Users are responsible for compliance with local laws, including data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause.

Provisions regarding liability, indemnification, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and warranties survive termination.

18. Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remainder of these Terms will remain in effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Health & Nutrition Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and MealShop.io.
